Slus Grande Bishop Fullblood Registered Boer
D.O.B 1/28/07
Bishop was a nice buck. I sold Bishop to his new home due to
all the daughters I have retained. He had a beautiful set of
horns, rich color on his head, excellent muscle in his shoulder
and neck and wonderful bloodlines. He was decked out in the
'Eggs'. He was a bit rough on the fence during the breeding
season. At least he loved his job.

Patches Non-Registered Spanish-Boer Cross
9yrs old
Patches is an old doe who favored having boys her whole life until
her last batch, which were triplets. That's when I got Patsy. (Whom
is Sired by Smoothy) I might add my best friend, who I got Patches
from, was livid when she heard about my new girl. Patches has been
retired due to old age and the 'elastic' just not holding up anymore
around her belly. She loves hand outs and firm massages. Yes, she
requires me to massage her now and again. She is a grandma now
and gets a bit peeved when her grandchildren try to nurse her. Still
her daughter and her are very close.
****Patches passed away 10-12-10 during a nap.

Pinewood Ranch j60 (Kenya)
Fullblood Registered Boer Buck
100% SA
Deceased
Kenya was an amazing long lived buck. His children did fantastic at the shows. One got Supreme Grand Champion
and another got Reserved Grand Champion. Several placed second in their class, plus other wins. He was an
excellent producer. He threw traditionals, paints, reds, and a few blacks. They were thick, well developed, and had
personalities that would knock you over. I luckily retained several daughters- and their offspring are superb. He lived
past 12 years. He was good tempered, strong, and loved his kids and Smoothy. He was one of the best bucks I have
ever owned, and he is missed greatly. He was a son of Ubora.
He has Sired: Sugarfoot Norma Jean Kassius (owned by the Milner Family) - Kassius sired Corki Muffin (owned by RR Resources) Roxy (owned by RR Resources) Suki (deceased) - Suki is the dam of Aoeki and Kendal who are sired by Bishop

Big Mama
Age- unknown, all nubian, non-registered
Big Mama was a HUGE doe. She was taller than most bucks. She loves her kids, but unfortunately
Big Mama became barren just after one kidding here. She delivered a still born doeling the
following year and just seemed lost. I sold Big Mama as a companion where she began to thrive.
She loved her new home where she got treats of frozen veggies! One day I received a call, I would
be sobbing when I hung up. Big Mama had died. It was just her time. It was harder on us than her
I'm sure. Big Mama loved the simple things and enjoy 'her' attention. She was top doe here and
had the 'big mama' attitude to top it off. She is missed dearly by all who were a part of her life,
though her time with us felt so short. She kidded Stella who is sired by a nubian buck named
Murphy. Stella is a non-registered grade doe, but she is full nubian. Big Mama's granddaughter,
Willie Mae lives on in our herd as well as Stella.

Slu's Awaited Suki (Deceased)
100% Fullblood SA
Registered Doe
Suki was a full SA doe out of my old buck, Kenya and a
large built doe from the Galahad line. Suki was entered
in a contest of boer goats online, of which is listed on
the BragginPage, and she won her class. She only
kidded once with twin does by Bishop (Aoeki and
Kendal) and not too long after they were weaned we put
Suki down due to a horrible foot problem. She didn't
want to go, but she would soon be suffering with the
amount of pain that foot created. She was a smart,
feminine doe with a personality like her father. It was
our bitter loss when she was put down and she will
always be fondly remembered.

Mai Tai (Deceased)
100% Fullblood Registered Doe
Mai Tai was a very large doe with a huge horn set. She was a great mother and is
survived by Cherie, whom isn't registered. Her only kidding here produced triplets. 2
does and 1 buck. Mai Tai enjoyed being next to you and getting a good scratch. She
was the dominant doe here until old age took it's toll and she passed away with her
daughter nearby. Her last pregnancy ended up terminating itself and therefore she
hit retirement. She (along with many of her half sisters that were here as well)
brought the Galahad bloodlines into our herd.

Alice
100% Fullblood Registered Doe
Alice was a daughter to the ennobled buck Stetson
and also had Galahad back in her pedigree. She
was a wide framed doe with a wide butt. I admit she
wasn't pretty, but she had a killer body! She was
not a friendly doe and had an attitude. But it was a
'leave me alone, I got this' attitude. She just
wanted to handle her business. She was an easy
keeper and a get it done mother. Her daughter
Norma Jean is the result of her being bred to
Kenya. Spud, out of the following year's kids, is out
of Bishop. She wowed us with quads her last year.

Lava and Latte (Both Deceased)
100% Fullblood Registered Does
These girls were some pride and joy. Both kidded 2 years for me before both fell to some illness. I don't know if both
cases were related or not, they went the same year-different months. They were sisters (triplets actually) out of
Scorpio's Stinger and Mocha from White House Boer Goats in Washington. Latte (traditional) was a favorite in the
herd- friendly, happy, and playful at times. Lava (red) was not. She liked the other goats, but that is where her
affections stayed. Lava's only daughter Corki, by Kassius (a Kenya son) remains in our herd. She is the opposite of
her mother and happens to like my company over the other goats'. Latte never succeeded through her final hours of
labor and had to be destroyed. It was one of the most heartbreaking moments here. Fortunately, the previous year,
she had 2 does by Kenya. Sugarfoot is a permanent member of the herd as well as Corki.

Kenya's Son out
of Nova, Kassius.
Owned by the
Milner Family.
Nova passed on in the early morning hours of 2-18-11. She got an pneumonia, delivered premature babies (5!) and lost them all. She never recovered. Nova was the matriarch of the herd and always was up until her death. She had one fault which were poor pasterns, but she was a superb doe in any other right. She always had triplets for me, until this last year and was an excellent mother. Her daughters, Nixie and Pigeon will continue on. Nova was my largest doe when I brought her home several years ago, over 250lbs. I never had to assist in the many kiddings she had. She had a peculiar habit of when she was bothered, anxious, etc. she would grind her molars together. It could drive you insane. Her son, Kassius by Kenya, is pictured below.
